Rocket Power: Beach Bandits is a 2002 Chance video game based on the tv set series Rocket Power, which premiered on Nickelodeon in 1999. It was released for the PlayStation two, GameCube, and Game Boy Advance. An Xbox version was planned for release but was cancelled for unknown reasons.
Plot [edit]
The gang are only about to starting time their summertime vacation when they realize all of the sand in Ocean Shores has been taken away by a mysterious criminal. After investigation, they observe out a visitor called Golem Industries has stolen all of the sand and the gang decide to go about stopping them.
They end up going to the lakes, where they discover that the water from at that place has also been stolen past Golem Industries. The water is plant out to be used to send electricity to a clandestine base. The gang end up destroying the water plants, and after a confrontation with the "Barramundi Bot", they return to Ocean Shores.
They eventually arrive at "Wishing Waters", the location of the clandestine base, which is revealed to be a behemothic robot manufactory underneath a water park controlled by a sentient supercomputer. Sam hacks into the calculator'due south programming to build a robot to gain admission to robot only areas. After exploring almost of the base of operations, they come into contact with "Cyrax", the supercomputer controlling the manufactory. Cyrax destroys the robot thereafter. Later on Team Rocket Power destroys all of Cyrax's reckoner chips with skateboards, Cyrax promptly explodes and the gang gets abroad. After coming back to Ocean Shores for a second time, the gang challenges Lars to a downhill dirt rail race, and after winning manage to convince Lars to give them the hole-and-corner location to Golem Industries' headquarters.
One time they make it within the base, they find a massive earthquake auto that Golem Sr, the possessor of Golem Industries is decision-making. In the cutscene that follows, Golem turns the automobile on, and later the base of operations rumbles a pipe knocks into him, sending him into a pool of lava. Golem and so comes out of the lava and is revealed to be a robot. The gang confront Golem and destroy him.
After the gang returns to Ocean Shores for a final fourth dimension, they find out that the mastermind behind the entire plan has been Eric Golem Jr, the declared son of Golem Sr. He threatens to destroy all of Body of water Shores with a giant tsunami machine. In social club to end this, the gang challenges Eric to a concluding set of race challenges. After the 3rd battle even so, Eric quits the challenges and runs to the control room, prompting Otto to race him via hoverboard to get to the control room before he does. After winning, the base of operations is destroyed. During the terminal scene, the gang forgives Eric for everything that he has done, and says that he should make some friends that are human.

Rocket Power: Beach Bandits received "mixed or average" reviews co-ordinate to the review aggregation website Metacritic.[ii] [three] GameRankings scores it 61.00% for the Gamecube version.[1] IGN gave the GameCube version a 5 out of 10, writing, "It'southward for kids. Does that mean it has to be mediocre?"[7]
